RoboMapper
RoboMapper was my bachelor’s project which was done at the university with three friends. The project consisted of an Arduino-controlled robot as well as a python application. The robot, while communicating to the application via Bluetooth, takes distance readings along its own axis by performing a full rotation and then sends these to the user. The robot then advances to a new node and does the same, while the application draws the measurements in a canvas.
After tweaking some thresholds and carefully calibrating the robot we managed to get some acceptable results. The best results can be viewed in the gallery. The full report is available in swedish and can be downloaded as a pdf.
